Members of the Jakšić family won two first prizes in the following categories: the most successful architectural achievement and the most successful design of stone souvenirs.
Our Dina Jakšić Pavasović won the 1st prize in the souvenir category for her modular Reflexio candlestick. The candlestick is designed as an interactive product that can be disassembled from a simple modern form and turned into a very complex branched form, also dissolving its function multiplies.
The most successful architectural achievement is the multi-apartment “House Dević” in Sutivan on the island of Brač by architect Vinko Peračić, an interesting segment of the villa is the fascinating ridge facade made by the stonemason’s workshop Dražen Jakšić. The recesses in the stone created the possibility of a play of light and thus a changeable facade.
