Dina Jakšić Pavasović is an active young painter who has been constantly creating from the very beginning of her artistic career. She began her education at the School of Fine Arts in Split and continued at the Academy di Belle Arti in Rome, where she graduated in Painting. She completed the highest level of education in art with a doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and thus acquired the title of Doctor of Arts.
Her doctoral dissertation entitled “On dowry through artistically designed space” is in the field of fine arts, branch of painting under the mentorship of prof. Igor Rončević and Ph.D. Anči Leburić.
She is a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists (HDLU) in Zagreb and the Croatian Association of Fine Artists (HULU) in Split. She worked as an external associate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and at the Academy of Arts in Split.
Dina Jakšić Pavasović has been exhibiting independently and in group exhibitions since 2003. In addition to exhibiting abroad, he likes to exhibit on his native island of Brač in unusual environments in which he invokes the island’s identity and local tradition.
