The solo exhibition of our sculptor Lovre Jakšić entitled “Notes from an inner quarry” was opened on August 5, 2020. at the Branislav Dešković Art Gallery in Bol on the island of Brač. The curators of the exhibition are responsible for the impressive art exhibition of Lovre’s sculptures: the director of the Center for Culture of the Island of Brač, Jasna Damjanović, and the curator of the Branislav Dešković Gallery, Tino Vuković. A review of Lovre’s works was written by the Croatian art historian and art critic Ive Šimat Banov. The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by very interesting sounds of stone and its processing prepared by Vanja Purić, while the graphic design of the entire exhibition was done by designer Goran Pavasović. We are proud of the great response of visitors at the grand opening of the exhibition and we want to thank all the participants!
