Preparations are underway for a large solo exhibition by our sculptor Lovre Jakšić. For now, we reveal only one work that will be presented at the exhibition. It is interesting to start from the very beginning where the sculptor shapes the clay creating a model that will be useful when working in stone. The clay is shaped and formed until the sculptor is completely satisfied, and only then does the work begin in the stone.
The stone finish goes through several stages of processing from very aggressive cuts with mechanical devices to gentle sanding with a fine cloth.
The result is a mystical male figure.
